Business Controller (ENG)

As Business Controller at Pascal, you will be part of the Finance & IT organisation, reporting to the Head of Finance & IT. The job combines FP&A with Business Partnering, providing closeness to the business with the overview from an FP&A role. There will also be a significant part related to IT, with focus on Power-BI and CRM. For the right person there is a steep learning curve, exposure to management and a great chance to impact how things are done.

Pascal develops and produces amplifier and speaker solutions and have in less than 15 years become one of the world leading suppliers of high-power amplifiers solutions for the professional market, typically within leading loudspeaker manufacturers.

Pascal has in-house development and engineering and handles all processes from sourcing, supply chain, contract manufacturers and logistics. Sales are global and combine an established OEM/ODM sales channel, as well as a new own brand build-up. This provides a lot of complexity and variety that is very attractive, and frustrating/challenging at the same time.

We are building the business controlling function and the Business Controller will be an integral part of the finance department. The team is small, 4 across Accounting & IT, and covers a lot of ground. The position offers a holistic view of the company and work on a wide range of tasks, rather than working in a highly specialized department with segregated duties.

The assignments include the following tasks:

• Become Power-BI and CRM superuser and assist in establishing the right reports and analysis
• Business partnering with the sales units and supply chain
• Monthly reporting for Management and BoD
• Forecasting, budgeting
• Ad hoc analysis, business cases, project participation, pricing reviews etc.

Candidate background:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills, a fast learner
• Possesses business acumen and curiosity
• Solid IT skills and understanding of data structure
• Based in Denmark
• Experience with Business Central and Dynamics CRM is an advantage
