Warranty FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions:
Who is covered? Pascal A/S offers a limited product warranty to direct customers of Pascal A/S. The warranty extends only to the original customer and is not assignable or transferable. End users should make warranty claims to the manufacturer of the end product, who in turn makes a claim to Pascal A/S.
What is covered by the warranty? Within the warranty period, products are covered against defects in materials or workmanship, as confirmed by Pascal A/S. At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price. Replacement products may be new or reconditioned.
How long is the warranty period? Effective December 2025, Pascal A/S has extended its warranty terms:
- Box-build amplifiers: 5 years (previously 2)
- Modules: 2 years (previously 1)
Products currently in the field or in stock are automatically covered under the new terms — no forms or registration required.
When does the warranty period start? The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase from Pascal A/S.
What is not covered? The warranty does not cover cords, consumable parts (such as batteries), displays, electrolytic capacitors, electro-mechanical fans, and normal wear and tear of items such as paint, knobs, handles, and touchscreens. Software and firmware distributed by Pascal A/S is provided as-is, without warranty.
What will void the warranty? The warranty is void if:
- Serial numbers have been removed or defaced
- The product has been modified, altered, or subjected to abuse or misuse
- The product has been damaged by drops or heavy external impact
- The product has been repaired by anyone not authorized by Pascal A/S
- The product has been operated outside its specified environmental conditions
- The product has been installed or used in a way that does not conform to Pascal A/S documentation or guidance
The warranty also does not cover damage caused by accidents, overvoltage, power surges, flooding, fires, earthquakes, or other external causes.
Can I repair a module myself? No. Any repair or modification of a Pascal product will void the warranty unless otherwise agreed in writing with Pascal A/S.
What do I do before returning my product to Pascal? Submit a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request. Go to "Submit a Claim" on this website, fill out and submit the claim, then wait for Pascal to confirm acceptance by email.
What are the return terms? The customer is responsible for delivering returned products to Pascal A/S or a designated service partner, and for covering all related expenses including duties, customs, and insurance. Pascal A/S is not responsible for damage during transit.
Products must be returned within one (1) month after the claim is approved, or the warranty is void.
Pascal A/S covers the cost of returning repaired or replaced products to the direct customer. Upon receipt, all returned products and related material become the property of Pascal A/S.
How long does warranty processing take? Once the RMA procedure has been correctly followed and the product is received, warranty claims are typically processed within five (5) days. If advanced root cause analysis is required, processing may take up to five (5) weeks.
